Kwal Paint has become part of the Comex Group, along with Frazee Paint, General Paint, Parker Paint, Color Wheel Paint and Comex (Mexico) to provide “international expertise” with “regional quality and performance”. Together we are now the fourth largest architectural paint manufacturer in North America.

Kwal Paint as part of the Comex Group has launched the newest and most engaging color palette available in North America called ColorLife®. Our new color system is more than just a collection of color swatches. ColorLife keeps our product lines ahead of the curve reflecting current and future color trends in fashion, advertising, and home décor. Architects, designers, contractors, homebuilders, painters and do-it-yourselfer’s can easily specify colors that make a statement about individual taste and lifestyle preferences.

Today, Kwal Paint has 2 plants, 5 major distribution centers and approximately 800 employees. Our main manufacturing facility is located in Denver, Colorado. This facility has always utilized the most modern equipment and technology and now produces over 11 million gallons of paint every year offering the most technologically advanced exterior product that is made specifically for the regions in which it is used.

Kwal Paint was founded in 1947 and over the years our company merged with other smaller regional paint companies, from Utah, El Paso, Dallas and Omaha and became the rocky mountain west’s largest regional paint manufacturer.

Kwal is now the largest independent manufacturer from the Mid-West to the Rocky Mountains. Kwal Paint has 106 stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
